Corporate Carbon Management Strategies

INHALT

This thesis aims to conduct a study, based on a structured survey, to examine the carbon management strategies implemented by manufacturing companies. The primary objective is to gain a comprehensive understanding of how organisations develop, implement and integrate carbon management strategies into their business operations. With increasing regulatory requirements, stakeholder expectations and the urgency to mitigate climate change, companies need to adopt systematic approaches to reduce their carbon footprint while ensuring economic viability.
The thesis will focus on key aspects such as
- The types of carbon management strategies currently in place.
- The extent and effectiveness of these strategies in reducing emissions.
- The level of integration with other corporate sustainability efforts (e.g. environmental, energy and asset management systems).
- Key challenges and barriers to implementing effective carbon management.

By analysing the data collected, the study will identify common practices, emerging innovative strategies and critical gaps in corporate carbon management.
