Institutionalized proactive risk management on the resilience and value creation of European manufacturing companies with regard to climate-related environmental events and hazards.


INHALT

Due to the rapid change of climate there are more and more environmental events and hazards that influence companies and their production. How well are companies prepared for such challenges and what precautions are they taking to be ready and mitigate the effects as much as possible? Are there differences in the stages of developement between the individual sectors and could mutual exchange be benefitial?
 
AUFGABENSTELLUNG

Explanation of the basic concepts of risk management, vulnerability and resilience as well as value creation. Identification of which climatic environmental events are considered and and which tools are available for risk management. How are these diffrent types institutionalized and implemented? Presentation of the methodological approach with design and hypothesis. Justified selection of sectors and/or companies and presentation. Creation of questionaire for data collection. Subsequent evaluation and answering of questions on the research gap with a concluding summary and outlook.
