Asset Management in Oil and Gas Industry


INHALT

Almost every industry is facing changes through digitalisation and Industry 4.0. Therefore, oil and gas companies are becoming more and more data-driven and start exploring their existing assets for more efficiency. To increase the overall efficiency, management is putting more and more pressure on petroleum engineering as well as on maintenance departments. This thesis should answer questions as for example:
  • How much value is hidden in petroleum production asset of oil and gas companies and what type of maintenance strategies are prevailing in this sector?
  • What are the most common maintenance cost factors for asset management in the E&P sector?
 
AUFGABENSTELLUNG

  • Identify the state-of-the-art asset management for the petroleum industry
  • What trends are visible with regard to asset management in E&P industry?
  • What is asset integrity management (AIM)?
  • What are the common workover (maintenance) strategies for different artificial lift systems (ALS)?
  • etc.
